Monaa Walton, PMHNP-BC

Monaa Walton, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over seven years of experience providing comprehensive psychiatric care. She offers supportive and individualized treatment to children, adolescents, adults, with  a history of clinical expertise in mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders.

Monaa earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Coppin State University and began her psychiatric career at Sheppard Pratt Hospital, where she worked in child inpatient psychiatry. Her early clinical experiences serving diverse and underserved populations shaped her strong commitment to equitable, culturally responsive mental health care.

She completed her graduate training at Wilkes University and further expanded her clinical perspective through work as a travel nurse. Monaa provides individualized medication management while partnering with therapists and care teams to ensure well-rounded, coordinated treatment.

Her mission is to foster a stigma-free, supportive environment where individuals feel heard, empowered, and confident as they work toward healing, resilience, and long-term mental wellness.
